U.S. officials this week offered their most full-throated endorsement yet of a digital dollar. Meanwhile, China has accelerated efforts for a digital currency.

cross border transactions, currency adoption, tax evasion.. we already have most of money transactions digitally, on blockchain you still have centralized exchanges, payment protocols, swaps, relays... that’s all just fear mongering IMO. The only thing that I think Chinese digital yuan would actually change is corruption within China

Yeah, the US is asleep at the wheel because of old money in govt.  China is ahead in a lot of future tech, not just crypto.

Yeah, I think it’s just about taking opportunity that China is perceived as a threat right now and pushing the narrative for more Bitcoin adoption that way
