The Optimistic Narrative 😊 ⛓️ We are in a transition period for blockchain from speculators to “BUIDLers”. The bear market has washed out the speculators and tourists, creating a healthy ecosystem for builders of blockchain innovation. The largest opportunity is restoring the trust of the mainstream and showcasing this technology to solve the wants and needs of customers. ⚙️ The focus in 2023 from blockchain #vc will be on the durable use cases from the best founders. The “BUIDLers” are holding on for dear life ( HODL ) and building the legacy companies. ⏩ The next internet treasures will be built in 2023 and those companies will enter our lexicon as “verbs” - similar to how we “instagram”, “uber” and “airbnb” from the social web technologies and how we “google”, “craigslist” and “ebay” from the dot com era.
