ICOs are back?! As domestic #Crypto companies revel in a more relaxed regulatory environment. Coinbase announced a new way for companies to sell new tokens to its user base. The product choice by the crypto giant evokes memories of the ICO boom that rolled over tech like a wave back in 2017. At the time, many startups sold tokens to fund development of the eventful product that those tokens would facilitate. Of course, the era was famous for impressive flameouts. Coinbase is reputationally conscious, however, so it’s doubtful we’ll see the same saga repeat.
