I don’t think every single digital asset needs to be financialized or speculative. I don’t think web3.0 is necessary for everything, i just see blockchain as a technology that doesn’t fit every single use case. But I still believe there will be value generated by this technology.

I think regulators tend to over correct and have recency bias. 

Also we are fitting bad/outdated fiat regulations and applying them to crypto. Current financial system is not good at all. It’s easier to participate in the next round of lottery (scam) than the next financing round of a prominent startup. Calculating taxes sucks. There are a bunch of middlemen for selling/reselling all sorts of assets, which all they do is copy similar legal forms and charge you a lot for it. Fiat loses half of its value in 10 about years…

My thesis on why crypto exploded is simple, it’s just easy to use. KYC on exchange and you’re good to go. Similar difficulty to participate in a scam and good investments
