The Securities and Exchange Commission is removing a key obstacle that has been standing in the way of banks offering crypto-related services. It has begun waiving a requirement that banks and brokers report crypto assets under custody as liabilities on their balance sheet, in cases where they have “sufficiently demonstrated” that clients’ assets will not be affected in the event of a bankruptcy.

From my seats, Congress has yet to enact any rules or restrictions on themselves, spouses, kids, from congressional (insider) trading because they have become multimillionaires. They sit on committees and get inside info and time their trades.
